The Psychometric
4.5 software package provides the capability
to work with standard psychometric charts
on the computer screen. A mouse can be used
to plot points and lines. In addition, a spreadsheet
can be brought up which lists up to 31 characteristics
of each point plotted on the chart. The chart
can be customized to exact needs, whether
it be low temperature refrigeration, or normal
HVAC cooling processes. This software package
is intended for the mechanical engineer and
engineering student who wants to better understand
psychometric processes. Psychometric 4.5 runs
under all versions of Microsoft Windows. The
psychometric chart software package utilizes
ASHRAE Fundamental calculations to construct
the graph, and determine the characteristics
of all the points.

What it
displays
Displays an actual psychrometric chart on
the computer screen allowing points and lines
to be plotted. Plot up to 100 points and lines
using the mouse.

Use the psychrometric spreadsheet to plot
points and lines more precisely and view up
to 31 different characteristics of each point.

Customization
You can customize the chart in the following
ways:
- Customize charts to display dry-bulb temperatures
from -140 degrees F to 392 degrees F.
- Customize the chart for differentelevations
and humidity ratio ranges.
- Display descriptions at each psychro-metric
point.

Export
Export the chart to the Windows clip-board,
bitmap file, Microsoft Word, HTML files, and
AutoCad DXF file.

Works with Loadsoft 4.0
Import psychrometric data from the Loadsoft
4.0 software package, and plot points associated
with the calculated loads.

Additional Features
The following is a list of additional features:
- Calculate mixing points based upon existing
points on the graph.
- Plot lines according to the Sensible/Total
Heat Ratio Circle.
- Perform quick psychrometric calculations
using the built in psychrometric calculator.
- Includes a wizard which allows easy creation
of a number of psychrometric processes without
the tedious manual work.
