With functions for drawing vessels, exchangers and
other equipment as well as an automated layering system
that lets you customize layers to conform to company
standards, AutoFLOW enables you to feel confident
that your diagrams are as accurate as you, and your
clients, demand them to be. With AutoFLOW you’ll
quickly and easily create flow sheets, valve bills
of material, equipment lists, instrument lists and
line number lists. Sometimes with just one click of
the mouse. Additional features such as the ability
to automatically trim lines before placing valves,
instruments and other symbols means you’ll be
able to complete your work more quickly which ultimately
saves time and money for you and your clients.
AutoORTHO
AutoORTHO comes standard with everything you need
to get to work almost as soon as you install the software
including a complete selection of standard pipefittings,
a function to calculate pipe spacing on pipe racks
and a full range of valve types. Though a fully automated
program, AutoORTHO puts you in control with a full
menu of system overrides that give you the ability
to override current spec settings and add special
components or even change the parameters for components.
Automated features at every turn speak to PROCAD’s
ability to create intuitive software that seems to
know as much about drafting as you do. For instance,
the Auto-Pipe-Route function simplifies the drafting
process by placing piping components sequentially
so you can work faster and still creates the detailed,
accurate drawings you need.
AutoISO
The third component of PROCAD’s Piping Suite
enables you to create isometrics with components containing
both dimensional and material data. AutoISO’s
automated functions allow you to change the isometric
plane effortlessly when the program detects a change
in the piping direction, verify spec compliance and
branch fitting types automatically, and even calculate
cut lengths of pipe when an overall dimension is entered.
The Auto-Pipe-Route function, one of AutoISO’s
most popular features, simplifies the drawing of isometrics
considerably. After specifying a start point and direction,
all you have to do is simply select one fitting after
another. The application places the fittings sequentially
by constantly moving the insertion point forward,
saving you countless minutes in design time.
